A place where faith, art, medicine, social media and pop-culture collide
I just saw the article about your mural, and your fight for health justice in our country. I was deeply saddened to read that your husband had lost his battle with cancer. Your artistic effort on his behalf is a towering testimony to the power of art, and to your commitment to "Go after them..." Many strangers weep with you and cheer you on.
I too just became aware of your efforts, via www.jezebel.com, which picked up the Examiner article. First, my sympathies. Second, my appreciation that you're leading a strong effort in advocacy in this issue. And as a professional in the arts myself, as a writer and editor, I think your chosen path for advocacy is wonderful. Please let me know if I can be of help in an arts-and-advocacy way.
